OUR STORY

Our Story –

Stosh’s Kettle Corn is owned by Stanley (Stosh) and Deborah Oskwarek.  Married and business partners for over 40 years, Stosh and Deborah have worked side by side in several businesses.

We have to say we love the Kettle Corn business!  It makes people happy!  Stosh, a longtime “foodie” and excellent chef, developed our Kettle Corn about 2009.  The first thing he did was develop about 6 recipes and bring them to our local IGA (we live in a town, pop. 3,500) and have our IGA friends try the various versions.  From their input and others, we opened up Stosh’s Kettle Corn, Woodbury Commons Outlet Mall, Central Valley, NY.

Needless to say, we had lines and great feedback from our customers at Woodbury. “He came back two minutes after buying our Kettle Corn and said:  “This bag won’t last the ride home, I’ll take another bag please.”  __Bill from Brooklyn.  People told us we should go on Shark Tank from the beginning.  We didn’t and kept going.  We had a great six years at Woodbury, and then we were told that the Mall was needing our space and we’d have to go.  Because of our following, we started our wholesale business in 2014.

From there we moved to 900 sq. ft.  factory,  then to a 2,000 sq. ft facility and now 10,500 sq. ft. factory.  We still make our Kettlecorn in kettles and use the same great recipe.

We are told again and again that Stosh’s Kettlecorn has a perfect balance of Sweet & Salt.  This is only because of Stosh’s gourmet palate and insistence on a striving for perfect balance in all the gourmet meals I, his wife, get to enjoy almost every night!

Thank you all for loving our Kettlecorn!
